- Water Source (Artesian, Spring, Rain, Well, Iceberg, Glacial)
- Mineral Content Ratios (strong influence on taste and body requirement)
- Bottling process (includes any filtration and sterilisation)
- Nitrate levels (nitrates is usually an indication of contamination)
- Taste (food and wine pairing, sweet, neutral, alkaline, acidic)
- Awards & Recognition
- Community and Environmental Responsibility
- Price Points (for HORECA and HOD )
- Bottle Design
- Recycle-ability
- Brand Equity
- Innovation
- Protected source factor (not near industrialised zones or can be polluted)
