How We Selected Our Waters

We have developed a rigorous selection process that takes a multitude of factors onboard when choosing the brands for our portfolio. To briefly highlight some of the factors that FWLLC considers when selecting a brand:

  • Water Source (Artesian, Spring, Rain, Well, Iceberg, Glacial)
  • Mineral Content Ratios (strong influence on taste and body requirement)
  • Bottling process (includes any filtration and sterilisation)
  • Nitrate levels (nitrates is usually an indication of contamination)
  • Taste (food and wine pairing, sweet, neutral, alkaline, acidic)
  • Awards & Recognition
  • Community and Environmental Responsibility
  • Price Points (for HORECA and HOD )
  • Bottle Design
  • Recycle-ability
  • Brand Equity
  • Innovation
  • Protected source factor (not near industrialised zones or can be polluted)
